Rising enrollments and diverse student needs combined with technology's push to innovate and invigorate the curriculum bring new challenges to the work of teaching and learning. This interactive workshop will explore how an iterative, technology-rich, learning outcomes-oriented approach to course redesign can energize faculty and other educators while enhancing teaching, learning, and collaboration. Participants will learn about key ingredients for developing a cost-efficient, sustainable approach to faculty development and explore some practical ways to begin a blended course redesign process. Real-life examples of the ways in which courses have evolved over time, successfully blending online and face-to-face instruction, will provide inspiration.
