After careful study of Substantive Change actions for 2008-2009, we've identified the most frequent issues that prevent institutions from receiving approval for new programs on the first pass. This workshop will provide an overview of the Not Accept actions from 2008-2009 and examine in depth the top 10 reasons why proposals are not accepted. Topics include: assessment, educational effectiveness, faculty, curriculum maps, budgets, capacity, and syllabi.
