Using Student Engagement Surveys to Demonstrate Effectiveness and Improve Undergraduate Learning and Success

National student surveys can be used to assess and improve the quality of the learning environment. This session will briefly introduce approaches to using student engagement surveys, including NSSE, BCSSE and CCSSE, in accreditation and focus on campus-based examples of institutional use to support student learning and success. Presenters will identify commonalities and differences in approaches and discuss lessons learned. Accreditation Toolkits mapping NSSE items to WASC standards will be shared.
