Karen Dunn-Haley and Laura Martin, Faculty Development Coordinators at U.C. Merced, will discuss the challenges of creating meaningful, outcomes-based syllabi and provide sample rubrics for helping faculty achieve these goals. Irene Girton and Jonathan O'Brien will discuss Occidental College's goal for continuous improvement in the delivery of co-curricular activities and services across both the Student Affairs and Academic Affairs divisions that support student learning, yielding alignment of student support services with the goals and outcomes of the academic program.
