Regional Accreditation, Specialized Accreditation, and Opportunities for Community Engagement: Challenges and Lessons Learned

Three very different institutions dealing with accreditation from both regional and specialized accrediting agencies share some of their strategies, successes, challenges, and lessons learned. One of the findings common across these institutions is the need, challenges, and opportunity for community engagement. This and other lessons may be easily transferred to other settings.
