Integrated Program Review and Institutional Planning – How to Fo It

Gaining campuswide buy-in for ePortfolio initiatives can be challenging. It's one thing to use an ePortfolio in one's own teaching; it's quite another to implement ePortfolios at the program or department level. This session spotlights a strategy that focuses ePortfolio implementation at the program level, engaging faculty across the department in collaboration on teaching, curriculum development, and assessment. Presenters will discuss purposes, challenges, incentrives, and how to promote thoughtful, coherent implementation. The presenters - the campus ePortfolio director and the leader of one department's initiative - will share their experiences and engage participants in a discussion of how best to support program faculty and administrators as they prepare for ePortfolio implementation.
